So the first three weeks of marathon training have
been a bit of a bust thanks to the holiday and then being sick for nearly 10
days, but hopefully now all of that stuff is behind me and I can now focus
wholeheartedly on hitting that 5 hour marathon time I have set for Kansas in
April. And I can also focus on getting Rachel to the finish line of her first half marathon!
Here is a look at how sad and pitiful the past 2

After yesterday’s half my right hip flexor was
pretty sore last night; however my shins and ankles were pretty sore too and I
think it is probably due to the fact that I hadn’t done anything for 10+ days,
but all of that being said I will be taking a couple of days off from running
and will get back to workouts as usual tomorrow. I plan to run Wednesday and
then focus on helping my sister get in her half marathon training.
Here’s what this week will hopefully look like for

What are your weekly workout goals this week?
Be on the lookout later this week for 2 race recaps from Houston!

Looking forward to your recaps! I've been sore too... I really think part of it is that Houston's entire course is concrete, except for maybe one mile around Rice. Ouch!!
I love your weekly reports - especially since you show what you had planned as well as what you actually did!
Hopefully this week will be much better for you since you're feeling better now!
