The One With My Land Of Oz Marathon Training



As promised here is my 16 week (er, 17 weeks I guess) training plan that I have lined up for marathon #2 on April 20th. As always this is just a plan and I will more than likely stray from it at times and make changes as the weeks go on but this is the base that I will use.

I based this plan off of the one that I used for the Dallas Marathon, I also consulted a running app (called 26point2) and Runner's World for ideas on mileage and long runs.

Your plan looks good! My next marathon after Disney may be the 26.2 with Donna about 5 weeks after Disney. Just a thought right now, but it may become a reality when I pass the booth at the Disney expo. :) I really really really need to include more cross-training into my next plan. i think you've got such a great balance of off days, mileage, and cross-training. And is this the race where you have to decide if you want to do the detour? Are you going to do it?

OMG I almost can't stop laughing at myself, I thought the far right was your long run! I was like holy hell why is she running that much for a marathon?! :)
