The one with treadmill workouts

I’m not the biggest fan of running on a treadmill; I think many runners will tell you that. However, given the current weather conditions I am accepting that it is going to become a part of my training if I want to continue running. I have also learned, by reading other blogs and searching websites, that treadmill workouts can be anything but boring, which is most people’s number one complaint. There are also many arguments going around as to whether or not a treadmill workout is really a good workout or not and if it can truly translate into training and on and on. My answer to those arguments is this: it’s either the treadmill or nothing, so take your pick. Treadmill for sure is the answer. Plus is brings variety to what could potentially become monotony (I know there are arguments for the monotony of the treadmill itself, but you get the point!) in an athlete’s workout schedule. I for one am excited to add something new to my routines and see what becomes of it.
